Samantia Deflorimonte-Rose
General Manager
Hello, my name is Sam, and I am the General Manager here at Ashchurch View. Welcome to our website!
I have gained a wealth of experience within the health and social care sector and I began my nursing career Guyana (South America) since then I have worked as registered nurse and midwife. I then moved to the UK in 2004 working as a registered nurse in the NHS and care sector before going onto securing the role of Deputy Home Manager. I joined Barchester in 2022 as Deputy Home Manager here at Ashchurch View and I am now delighted to have been appointed General Manager.
I am passionate about delivering the best support to our residents at Ashchurch View and promoting person-centred approach to care.
Cheryl Carrington-Windo
Administrator
Hello, my name is Cheryl and I am the Ashchurch View Administrator. I worked in administration for many years including having previously worked in another care home. The administration team will be your first contact with the home either in person or by phone and I feel privileged to work at Ashchurch View, supporting our residents and their families.
John Fesel
Head Chef
Hello, my name is John and I joined Ashchurch View as Head Chef in 2017. I completed my chef training at South Kent College and I have worked in a variety of environments all over the world. I am really enjoying working in a care home as it is not just about tasty food, it also about nutrition and planning a balanced diet for our residents. It is great getting to know the residents and it is a pleasure to work with them as diet is so important.
Pat Maddox
Head of Housekeeping
Hello, my name is Pat and I am Head of Housekeeping here at Ashchurch View. I am responsible for cleaning, housekeeping and infection control as well as managing the other members of the Housekeeping Team. I love chatting to the residents as I go around the home.

Hello, my name is Emy and I a Care Practitioner and Dementia Champion at Ashchurch View. I love working with the residents to enrich their lives and I am committed to quality care in our Memory Lane Community, which specialises in looking after those living with dementia.
